We only use water supplied by Rand Water as our source for bottled water. Rand Water is famous for supplying high quality drinking water to the public for many years now. Bottling water straight from the tap could be a lucrative business, but Heynswater products must add value tfor our customers. If, by chance, tap water becomes contaminated our purification process ensures that all contaminant are removed.
How do we purify our water?
We use the best purification process know as Reverse Osmoses. It is a process used by premium water by premium water bottling companies. Water is passed through granular activated pre filters, then through a reverse osmoses membrane and then stored in storage tanks from where the bottling process starts. The pores in a reverse osmoses filter membrane are only approximately 0.0005 microns in size. Bacteria are 0.2 to 1 micron and viruses are 0.02 to 0.4 microns in size. This means that all bacteria and viruses are removed during the RO filtration process. The water is of high quality and absolutely pure and safe for consumption.
